About the CCLG Blog
The Centre for Corporate Law & Governance (CCLG) at Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur, curates the CCLG Blog as a dedicated scholarly platform for critical engagement with evolving issues in corporate governance, regulatory policy, and allied areas of commercial law. The Blog aspires to bridge the gap between legal academia and professional practice by hosting rigorous, original, and timely commentary from students, academics, and practitioners across India.
Scope & Subject Areas
The CCLG Blog invites submissions that engage meaningfully with law as it operates and evolves. While the Blog’s primary focus lies in corporate governance and commercial regulation, it welcomes contributions that intersect with adjacent legal domains. Broadly, the Blog covers, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- ▸ Corporate law, governance, and board accountability
- ▸ Securities regulation and capital markets law
- ▸ Mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring
- ▸ Insolvency, bankruptcy, and creditor rights
- ▸ Banking and financial regulation
- ▸ Competition law and regulatory economics
- ▸ Tax law and fiscal policy
- ▸ Emerging areas such as ESG, fintech regulation, and digital commerce law
Format of Submissions
The CCLG Blog accepts the following categories of writing:
- ▸ Articles – In-depth analytical pieces examining a legal question, policy issue, or doctrinal development
- ▸ Case Analysis – Critical analysis of landmark or recent judicial and regulatory decisions
- ▸ Opinions & Perspectives – Concise, argument-driven pieces on contentious or emerging legal questions
- ▸ Legislative Notes – Structured responses to new legislation, amendments, or regulatory notifications

Substantive Requirements
Analytical Approach
The CCLG Blog places a premium on analytical depth over descriptive narration. Submissions must go beyond recounting facts or black-letter law, they should evaluate, critique, and argue. Authors are encouraged to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or reform possibilities in the law.
Introduction
The opening section of every submission must orient the reader clearly to the subject matter, articulate the central argument or inquiry, and briefly outline the structure of the piece. A well-crafted introduction signals the quality and intent of the entire submission.
Originality
All submissions must be wholly original and unpublished. Work must not have been accepted for publication or submitted for concurrent consideration elsewhere, whether in print or online. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and unattributed paraphrasing will result in immediate disqualification.
Plagiarism & Use of AI
Plagiarism Threshold: Submissions with a plagiarism percentage exceeding 15% will be summarily disqualified. Authors are advised to run plagiarism checks before submission.
AI Prohibition: The use of Artificial Intelligence tools (including but not limited to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) for drafting, paraphrasing, or generating any part of the submission is strictly prohibited. Submissions found to have been AI-generated, in whole or in part, will be disqualified.
Copyright
Upon acceptance and publication, the copyright of the submission shall vest with the Centre for Corporate Law & Governance (CCLG), DNLU, Jabalpur. Authors retain the moral right to be credited as the original authors of the work. Any republication of the piece on other platforms must carry an express acknowledgment that the work was originally published on the CCLG Blog, DNLU Jabalpur.
Co-Authorship
Co-authored submissions are accepted. All contributing authors must be individually identified in the submission form. One author must be designated as the primary contact for all editorial correspondence. Co-authors are jointly responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the submission.
Submission Process
Authors must follow the procedure below when submitting their work:
▸ Submit BOTH the MS Word (.docx) and PDF versions of the manuscript through the official submission link.
▸ Provide your full name, institutional affiliation, academic year or professional designation, and a working email address in the form.
▸ Submissions via email or any channel other than the official Google Form will not be entertained.

Editorial Review Process
All submissions are subject to a double-blind peer review by the CCLG Editorial Board. The identities of both the author and the reviewer remain confidential throughout. The Editorial Board retains sole discretion over acceptance, rejection, or conditional acceptance of any submission.
